Overview

Connecting your Google Play Developer account to Rebo AI enables you to:

  • Respond to Android app reviews directly from Rebo AI.
  • Access the full history of reviews and responses for your Android applications.

Follow this guide carefully to ensure a secure connection between your Google Play Developer account and Rebo AI. Our integration utilizes minimal permissions to maintain maximum data security.

Important: Only the account owner can create Service Accounts in the Google Play Console. Administrator accounts do not have sufficient permissions to complete this process.

  • Access to the Google Cloud Console
  • Your app's package name

Step 4: Generate a JSON Key for the Service Account

  1. On the Service Accounts page, select the project "Rebo AI Integration" and click the service account you just created (e.g. with email starting 'rebo-ai-reply-to-reviews').
  2. Click Keys (Tab) > Add Key (Dropdown) > Create new key.
  3. Choose JSON and click Create.
  4. Save the downloaded JSON file securely; you will need it for the next steps.

Step 5: Grant Permissions to the Service Account

  1. Access the Google Play Console and sign in.

  2. Navigate to Users & permissions from the left-hand menu.

  3. Click Invite new users.

  4. Paste your service account's email address in the Email address field.

Reminder: You can find your service account's email address on the Service Accounts page of your Google Cloud Console.

  5. Under App permissions, select:

    • View app information (read-only)
    • Reply to reviews
  6. Press Apply.

  7. Click Invite user and then Send invite to finalize the permissions.
